This year is still fresh, and one of the largest and culturally rich celebrations is coming up soon. 2022 is the year of the Tiger (Water Tiger) in the Chinese zodiac. Chinese Lunar New year falls on February 1, 2022. So if you were born in “2022, 2010, 1998, 1986, 1974, 1962, 1950, and 1938”, then this is your year!

Stevie Wonder, Leonardo DiCaprio, Lady Gaga, and Queen Elizabeth II were all born in the Tiger year. There are dozens of Lunar New Year celebrations around Los Angeles; a few stand out.

A unique family-friendly festival filled with a vibrant parade, floats, marching bands, entertainment, and cultural groups.
